Bring a 5 Spot to CYLRR

Those bringing exact change for their race entry fees will be greeted with
smiles and given lucky race numbers. Check Your Legs RR entry fee is an amazingly low $5. If you need to buy a one day USCF License it's another $10. You can buy
yearly licenses....but you are strongly urged to do that online at www.usacycling.org
The course is in good shape. There will be lots of unhealthy food for everyone after the race. I've rounded up about 10 prizes to give out. Put on your light wheels and get ready to race.

In addition to a very cool full zip jersey; Williamson Bikes and Fitness have dontated
a bunch of water bottles to give out to the first 21 riders who enter the CYLRR.

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER FOR THIS WEEKEND

Registration is from 9:30 to 11.

Races start a few minutes after 11.

There will be only two fields this year. Men who are Category 3, 4 or 5 USCF RACERS.
Sorry but there is NO RACE FOR Cat. 1 and 2 riders.
The second field is for the Women.

22 mile loop with 1,200 feet of climbing, two major climbs. A 23 tooth is recommended.

Race starts at Hollenbeck's Cider Mill, Route 392, Virgil, NY (3 miles west of Greek Peak Ski Resort). Approximately 5 miles southwest of Cortland and 15 miles east of Ithaca. Finishes up Van Donsel Road across from Cider Mill.

Road race consists of a 2 lap event on a 12.8 mile course with 2
challenging climbs. There is a slight uphill finish.
Recommended gearing is 39 x 23.

Race will be run on as either a Men's or Womens' Field.

IMPORTANT NOTE Men racers must be USCF category 3, 4 or 5. This race
will be 2 laps. The field limit will be 75 riders. Sorry but there is no field for Cat. 1 and 2 riders.

Women will race as an open Category for all USCF categories.
