One of the best road courses in NYS. Good racing, an Upstate NY Must Do Race and fun atomosphere. CNYC rides will be there....You should be too.

Course: Hollenbeck's

22 mile loop with 1,200 feet of climbing, two major climbs. A 23 tooth is recommended.

Race starts at Hollenbeck's Cider Mill, Route 392, Virgil, NY (3 miles west of Greek Peak Ski Resort). Approximately 5 miles southwest of Cortland and 15 miles east of Ithaca. Finishes up Van Donsel Road across from Cider Mill.

Registration from 8:00 to 9:30am on day of race. $12.00 for preregistration, $15.00 day of race; $10.00 for juniors (Cat 5 license fee not included).

Race starts at 10:00am. LAJORS event for 15-18 juniors (males w/ Junior field, females w/ W Cat 4) and 19-22 espoirs (race in their category). Rollout required for all juniors. See www.jru23cycling.info, and specifically, "Junior Gear Restrictions" . ANSI approved helmet required for all races. Race promoter reserves the right to combine fields or change distance depending on weather and turnout.

Prize money ($15.00 return of entry fee) for first three places in each category. If fewer than 10 in category, payout to top 2 places. No payout for tandem. Food (famous cookies!) and refreshments provided for all riders and volunteers. T-shirts or water bottles for race volunteers.
